CONVOY LOGISTICS PROVIDERS (CLP)  completed delivery of a large Amine Regeneration tower from Ontario to Newfoundland. This involved extensive research to meet client delivery time lines and transportation requirements.

 

Through selection of a vessel deck trailer that reduced the travel height to only 4.85 meters and eliminating the need and extra cost for road utilities, sea transport using Ro-Ro (Roll on- Roll off) with a large deck barge was selected for the transport from the port of Hamilton to Come By Chance and discharge at a private dock in Newfoundland thus achieving best shipping- and cost savings.

 

After a short transit time of only 8 days, the tower was successfully unloaded and delivered to the client’s refinery where it will replace an existing tower.
